Donald Parham Jr. Diagnosed With Concussion
3 years agoLos Angeles Chargers tight end Donald Parham Jr. (head) stayed overnight in the hospital and was diagnosed with a concussion. Parham is comfortable and alert and is expected to be discharged from the hospital at some point on Friday. The 24-year-old had to be immobilized and carted off after he slammed his head on the turf early in the first quarter of Thursday's overtime loss to the Kansas City Chiefs. Parham dropped his only target in the back of the end zone, but his health and well-being are the only things that matter at this point in time. The Chargers have extra time to rest before their Week 16 game, but Parham could still have a tough time getting cleared for that one. If he misses any time, Jared Cook could see a slight target boost moving forward.
