3 years agoLos Angeles Chargers running back Austin Ekeler (ankle) will play on Thursday night against the Kansas City Chiefs. Ekeler came into Thursday's game as questionable and a game-time decision, but all along the Chargers expected him to suit up. However, a report surfaced Thursday morning that the 26-year-old won't have a full workload after spraining his ankle in Week 14 and emerging more sore than expected early this week. It means that Justin Jackson, Joshua Kelley and rookie Larry Rountree III could share more work than usual behind Ekeler, but for fantasy purposes, those that have Ekeler rostered should stick with him as an RB1 in what should be a high-scoring affair.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
