Curtis Samuel Held Out Wednesday
3 years agoWashington Football Team wide receiver Curtis Samuel (groin) was sore after the Week 14 loss to the Dallas Cowboys and was held out of practice on Wednesday. It doesn't sound like something that will keep Samuel from playing in Week 15 against the Philadelphia Eagles, but he'll still likely need to get back on the practice field either Thursday or Friday. The 25-year-old played only 14 offensive snaps in his fifth game of the season last Sunday, and he has just two catches on four targets for eight yards in the last three games since returning from his groin injury. Samuel has had a year to forget in his first season in D.C., and although his role in the offense is expected to expand down the stretch, we've yet to see it.
