3 years agoHouston Texans head coach David Culley said that running back Rex Burkhead (hip) will not be able to play in Week 15 against the Jacksonville Jaguars. With Burkhead out, David Johnson and Royce Freeman will split the team's backfield this weekend. With Johnson out due to COVID-19 last weekend, Burkhead and Freeman split the load, with both players seeing exactly 11 carries. Freeman caught six of his eight targets in the passing game for 51 yards. Against Jacksonville, expect Johnson to see work on the early downs, with Freeman serving as the third-down back. It's a nice matchup, but neither player will be particularly exciting in fantasy as anything more than an RB3/flex in Houston's lackluster offense. Freeman will have more appeal in PPR setups as a waiver-wire addition this week.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
