Lamar Jackson Has A Low Ankle Sprain
3 years agoBaltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson (ankle) was diagnosed with a low right ankle sprain after leaving the Week 14 loss to the Cleveland Browns on a cart. Jackson avoided the dreaded high ankle sprain, but as far as his status for Week 15 against the Green Bay Packers goes, the team is in wait-and-see mode on Tuesday. There is a lot of optimism around him for now, but Jackson is one of the most mobile quarterbacks in the NFL, so a lower body injury would affect him more than most. Fantasy managers will know more once the Ravens begin practicing for the week on Wednesday, but for now, consider him highly questionable. The 24-year-old may not have the high-end QB1 upside if he's active and is limited in what he can do with his legs. If he's not cleared, backup Tyler Huntley would get the start against Green Bay.
