Starting Job Is Rashaad Penny's To Lose
3 years agoSeattle Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll said that the team will keep rotating running backs, but he also said that Rashaad Penny deserves the chance to keep starting for now. That will continue to be the plan heading into Week 15 against the division-rival Los Angeles Rams. Penny had 16 carries for 137 yards and two touchdowns in Sunday's win over the Houston Texans, with Alex Collins going for just 16 yards on seven carries. Both Penny and Collins had one target apiece. Collins or Adrian Peterson (back) could vulture goal-line carries the rest of the way, but the starting job is now Penny's to lose to close out the regular season. The former first-round RB is rostered in only 23% of Yahoo leagues at the moment. Although the Rams will be a tough matchup in Week 15, Penny should certainly be a hot waiver-wire commodity this week for those advancing to the fantasy playoffs.
