Jordan Love Placed On COVID-19 List
3 years agoThe Green Bay Packers placed quarterback Jordan Love on the Reserve/COVID-19 list on Monday, according to general manager Brian Gutekunst. Love is believed to be vaccinated, so he could be available in Week 14 on Sunday against the Chicago Bears if he's asymptomatic and returns two negative tests 24 hours apart before then. Aaron Rodgers has been playing through a broken pinkie toe, but hopefully he'll come out of the bye week healthier. If Love doesn't gain clearance by Sunday, the Packers will likely elevate Kurt Benkert from the practice squad to the active roster to serve as Rodgers' backup. Love got the start in Week 9 when Rodgers was on the COVID-19 list and threw for only 190 yards with a TD and an interception in his first career start.
