Breshad Perriman Joining Tampa's Active Roster
3 years agoThe Tampa Bay Buccaneers are signing wide receiver Breshad Perriman to their active roster from the practice squad on Friday, according to his agent, Drew Rosenhaus. Perriman will take suspended wideout Antonio Brown's spot on the 53-man roster. Brown will be suspended for the next three weeks, so it's fair to guess that Perriman will be on Tampa's active roster for that span of games. The 28-year-old has been active for just two games in Weeks 10 and 11 for the Bucs, and he caught two of his four targets for 19 yards in Week 11. Even with Brown out, quarterback Tom Brady has Mike Evans, Chris Godwin and Rob Gronkowski to throw to. Tyler Johnson and Scotty Miller will battle for snaps as the No. 3 wideout, so Perriman will only see a handful of targets, if any, in Week 13 against the Atlanta Falcons.
