Corey Davis A Game-Time Decision For Sunday
3 years agoNew York Jets wide receiver Corey Davis (groin) will be a game-time decision for Sunday's game against the Philadelphia Eagles. Davis injured himself in Week 11 and didn't play in Week 12. He returned to practice on Friday after missing the other two practices of the week, though, and the Jets are more optimistic on him heading into this weekend than they were last week. Take that for what it's worth. The 26-year-old has been a nice safety blanket for rookie quarterback Zach Wilson this year, but the emergence of rookie wideout Elijah Moore and a pretty stout Philly secondary could be cause for concern if Davis returns this Sunday. Davis has four touchdowns, one 100-yard game and has gone over 50 yards just three times in eight games.
