Jack Doyle Sits Out Of Practice Wednesday
3 years agoIndianapolis Colts tight end Jack Doyle (knee) did not take part in Wednesday's practice session due to a knee ailment. It comes after he caught a season-high six passes on seven targets for 81 yards and his third touchdown of the season in the Week 12 loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. We'll have a better idea on Thursday if the 31-year-old's knee injury is serious enough to potentially keep him from playing in Week 13 against the Houston Texans. Doyle has seen more involvement in recent weeks with 17 targets in the last three games, and he's scored in three of the last five games. While the Texans D has been stingy to TEs in fantasy on the season as a whole, they've been more vulnerable of late. Doyle has been trending up, but Indy probably won't need to throw the ball a lot to win this game, making Doyle a touchdown-dependent TE2 if he's active.
