Antonio Gibson Still Managing Shin Issue
3 years agoWashington Football Team running back Antonio Gibson (shin) put in his second limited practice of the week on Friday as he continues to manage a hairline fracture in his shin that he suffered earlier this season. Gibson continues to operate as Washington lead running back, but he hasn't been nearly as efficient as he was in his rookie year and is averaging just 3.9 yards per carry on his 154 rushing attempts on the season. J.D. McKissic and rookie Jaret Patterson will continue to be sprinkled in when Gibson needs a breather. Coming off a 19-carry, 95-yard performance in the Week 11 win over the Carolina Panthers, Gibson will be a midrange RB2 against a Seahawks defense that has surrendered the fifth-most fantasy points per game to RBs in the last three weeks.
