Mark Ingram II Won't Play Thursday Night
3 years agoFOX Sports' Jay Glazer said that New Orleans Saints running back Mark Ingram II (knee) will not play on Thursday night against the Buffalo Bills. Official inactives won't be released until 90 minutes before kickoff, so nothing is official yet. Ingram was questionable to play coming into the Thanksgiving game, and the Saints have already ruled out Alvin Kamara, so the New Orleans backfield will likely consist of Tony Jones Jr. and quarterback Taysom Hill splitting most of the touches. Dwayne Washington and Ty Montgomery could also be involved, but we wouldn't expect much from them. Jones will be worth RB3/flex consideration in DFS and deeper leagues, but the Saints offensive line is beat up and will be facing a Bills defense looking to rebound after getting demolished by Jonathan Taylor in Week 11. And the possibility that Hill is heavily involved in the ground game also makes Jones' floor pretty scary.
