Zach Wilson Will Start Against Texans
3 years agoNew York Jets rookie quarterback Zach Wilson (knee) will start on Sunday against the Houston Texans in Week 12, according to a source. Wilson will return after missing the last four games with a PCL sprain. His return couldn't come at a better time against a Texans defense that has allowed 255.8 passing yards per game (sixth-most in the NFL) and the seventh-most fantasy points per game (23.6) to opposing QBs this season. The Jets didn't want to bring the No. 2 overall pick back too soon, so fantasy managers should expect the 22-year-old to be fully healthy. Wilson has certainly had his share of struggles in the first six games of his career, completing only 57.5% of his 181 pass attempts for 1,168 yards, four touchdowns and nine interceptions. He's also been sacked 19 times. Wilson is a dynasty stash, but he'll go back to being a low-end QB2 in single-season formats despite the good matchup.
