Logan Thomas Expected To Practice This Week
3 years agoWashington Football Team tight end Logan Thomas (hamstring), who has been on Injured Reserve since Oct. 6, is expected to return to practice this week, according to a source. Thomas hasn't been fully cleared to return yet, but the team will open his 21-day practice window this week. The 30-year-old caught 12 of 14 targets for 117 yards and two touchdowns in four games before his injury and will return as the team's top pass-catching tight end once he's ready. Fantasy managers shouldn't expect him to necessarily play in Week 12, but he's worth a waiver pickup if you're in need at the position. Thomas has the skills to be at least a low-end TE1 once he's back up to full speed. Rookie John Bates caught all three of his targets for 23 yards with Ricky Seals-Jones (hip) inactive in the Week 11 win over the Carolina Panthers.
