Sterling Shepard Won't Return On Monday Night
3 years agoNew York Giants wide receiver Sterling Shepard (quadriceps) has been ruled out for the Week 11 contest against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Monday night. Shepard wasn't able to get on the practice field all week and has not played since Week 8. The 28-year-old has been a popular target for quarterback Daniel Jones when healthy, but staying healthy has been a problem for him in 2021. He's played in only five games and has 32 catches for 324 yards and one touchdown. In Shepard's absence, Kenny Golladay and rookie Kadarius Toney could both put up solid numbers for fantasy managers against a Buccaneers secondary that has been beat up all season long. Darius Slayton will most likely serve as the No. 3 pass-catcher with Shepard sidelined again.
