T.J. Watt Looking Unlikely For Sunday Night
3 years agoPittsburgh Steelers pass-rusher T.J. Watt (hip, knee) missed his second practice of the week on Thursday and doesn't appear likely to play in Week 11 on Sunday night against the Los Angeles Chargers unless he returns to practice on Friday. Watt was considered week-to-week earlier in the week, so it wouldn't be a huge surprise if he wasn't ready for Week 11 action. His absence would be a big downgrade for Pittsburgh's defense, who will also be without safety Minkah Fitzpatrick due to COVID-19. On the flip side, it would be a boost to the Chargers offense, mainly quarterback Justin Herbert. Watt is one of the best pass-rushing linebackers in the league and has 39 tackles, 12.5 sacks and three forced fumbles on the season.
