Jared Goff Misses Another Practice
3 years agoDetroit Lions quarterback Jared Goff (oblique) missed another practice on Thursday. Goff suffered a strained oblique early in the Week 10 tie with the Pittsburgh Steelers, but he stayed in the game and finished the contest. Two straight missed practices this week, however, has his status in question for Week 11 against the Cleveland Browns. The 27-year-old will likely need to practice on Friday to have a shot at playing this Sunday. It could be a pain-management issue this weekend. If Goff cannot play, Tim Boyle (thumb) will likely be activated from Injured Reserve in order to start under center. Goff hasn't been very good in his first season with the Lions, but Detroit's offensive weapons would need to be downgraded slightly if Boyle is leading this offense against a capable Browns defense.
