Hayden Hurst Ruled Out Against Patriots
3 years agoAtlanta Falcons tight end Hayden Hurst (ankle) missed practice all week and has officially been ruled out for Thursday night's game against the New England Patriots in Week 11. Hurst hasn't been fantasy relevant all year with first-rounder Kyle Pitts seeing most of the pass-catching work at the position, but his absence could mean more looks for Pitts, especially if running back/wide receiver Cordarrelle Patterson (ankle) is unable to play. Hurst has just 20 receptions on 25 targets in nine games (five starts) this season for 158 yards and one touchdown. With him inactive against New England, veteran Lee Smith should have a much bigger role behind Pitts, but he's not a realistic tight end streamer.
