Richard Sherman To Miss A Few Weeks With Calf Strain
3 years agoTampa Bay Buccaneers cornerback Richard Sherman's (calf) MRI exam showed a Grade 2 calf strain that he suffered in pre-game warmups before the Week 10 loss to the Washington Football Team, and he will miss a few weeks, according to a source. The 33-year-old defensive back has managed to play in just three games for the Bucs this year due to injuries, and he's set to miss a few more after his latest setback. Overall, Sherman has 11 solo tackles and a fumble recovery for a Tampa secondary that has had their fair share of injuries in 2021. With Sherman out for the near future, Pierre Desir will need to step up for a team that has allowed 267 yards receiving per game to opposing offenses.
