Optimism That Von Miller Will Play Monday
3 years agoThere is optimism that Los Angeles Rams pass-rusher Von Miller (ankle), who is questionable to play on Monday night against the San Francisco 49ers, will make his debut with the team, according to a source. Miller looked good in practice and did more than the previous week, so he should be active on Monday night, barring a setback. It's unclear how much Miller will actually play if he is active, though, so he's a pretty risky IDP option to close out Week 10 action. The 32-year-old former Denver Broncos star hasn't played since he was injured in Week 7 against the Cleveland Browns on Thursday Night Football, but he could make this Rams defense even more scary if he can stay healthy down the stretch. In seven games with Denver before he was traded, Miller had 19 tackles (10 solo), seven tackles for loss, nine QB hits and 4.5 sacks.
