Can Broncos Defense Produce An Encore Against Eagles?
3 years agoThe Denver Broncos defense made a statement in the Week 9 win over the Dallas Cowboys, holding one of the top offenses to only 16 points. Denver's D ranks second in the NFL by allowing just 17.0 points per game, and their Week 10 matchup with the Philadelphia Eagles could come down to getting red-zone stops. Philly enters the game with the third-ranked red-zone offense, having converted 71.9% of their red-zone trips into touchdowns. Injuries to their secondary -- first-round rookie cornerback Patrick Surtain II (knee) and Bryce Callahan (knee) could both be out -- will make things more difficult. The key for the Broncos defense will be slowing down Philly's running game, particularly quarterback Jalen Hurts. Their defensive unit will be a low-end streaming option in fantasy.
