Christian McCaffrey Not Carrying An Injury Designation
3 years agoCarolina Panthers running back Christian McCaffrey, who made his return from a hamstring injury in Week 9, wasn't on the injury report all week and won't carry an injury designation into the Week 10 contest against the Arizona Cardinals. It was uncertain how much of a role CMC would have in his first game action since Week 3, but he ended up playing just under half of the offensive snaps, with rookie Chuba Hubbard on the field 16.9% of the time. McCaffrey went over 100 yards from scrimmage on 14 carries and four receptions on five targets. It was an encouraging first game back, and he could be relied on even more this Sunday with P.J. Walker starting at quarterback for the injured Sam Darnold (shoulder). We shouldn't have to say this, but McCaffrey is a must-start RB1.
