Chris Carson Headed For Game-Time Decision
3 years agoSeattle Seahawks running back Chris Carson (neck) is headed for a game-time decision in Week 10 against the Green Bay Packers. In order for Carson to be eligible to play, the Seahawks will need to activate him from Injured Reserve by Saturday. The 27-year-old has missed the last four games with a serious neck injury, and it's unclear if he proved enough in his return to practice this week that he's ready to return to the field on game day. If Carson is activated from IR and active against the Packers, there's also a chance that he is eased back in alongside Alex Collins, who has been serving as Seattle's primary back in his absence. The good news for the Seahawks RB picture this weekend is that quarterback Russell Wilson (finger) is slated to return. Collins will be on the RB2/3 borderline if Carson isn't ready to return just yet.
