Rob Gronkowski Misses Another Practice
3 years agoTampa Bay Buccaneers tight end Rob Gronkowski (back) missed his second straight practice of the week on Thursday, and head coach Bruce Arians said, "We think in about two or three weeks he'll be back to normal." So it certainly sounds as though Gronk will miss the Week 10 game against the Washington Football Team and possibly be out again in Week 11. Tampa wants to be cautious with the oft-injured tight end. The 32-year-old suffered fractured ribs and a punctured lung in Week 3 and returned prematurely in Week 8 and left early with back spasms. Expect the Bucs to make sure Gronk is healthy for a stretch run. O.J. Howard and Cameron Brate should continue to split the tight end reps, with Howard proving to be the better TE2 sleeper gamble with Gronk out this year.
