Kyler Murray Improving, Hopes To Play Sunday
3 years agoArizona Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray (ankle) said his sprained left ankle continues to improve, and he's hoping it's healthy enough for him to play in Week 10 against the Carolina Panthers. "I think it's day by day," Murray said Wednesday. "I think we've got a great plan. I feel way better than I did when I talked to you last time, so, I think that's a plus and I'm excited." Murray missed the Week 9 contest and didn't take part in Wednesday's walkthrough practice. He doesn't think he needs to practice in order to play, but not getting many reps can make him feel like he's "getting away from it in a sense." His fantasy managers are hoping to be able to plug him back in their lineups as a high-end QB1, but unfortunately the final decision won't be up to him, and he could once again be a game-time decision.
