3 years agoThe Chicago Bears officially activated running back David Montgomery (knee) from Injured Reserve in time for Monday night's game against the Pittsburgh Steelers to close out Week 9. Montgomery will be active for the first time since spraining his knee on Oct. 3, but fantasy managers should expect him to be eased back in behind rookie Khalil Herbert, who has been impressive filling in as the team's primary back in recent weeks. Damien Williams (knee) has already been ruled out after injuring his knee in last week's loss to the San Francisco 49ers. Montgomery can't be trusted to starting lineups in his first game in a month, while this could be Herbert's final game with RB2 upside.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
