Ricky Rubio Explodes For Career-High 37 Points
3 years agoCleveland Cavaliers point guard Ricky Rubio had a special night at the Madison Square Garden on Sunday, scoring a career-high 37 points in 31 minutes off the bench. He shot an amazing 8-for-9 from downtown and was 13-for-19 overall from the field with a 3-for-3 record at the line. Rubio's dominant performance also included 10 assists with three rebounds, one steal and four turnovers. This was a spectacular performance and came just a few nights after Rubio had a zero-point dud. Coming off the bench, he's not in a great spot to put up good numbers night in night out, but he's been fairly solid so far this season with 13.7 points, 3.7 rebounds and 6.8 assists per game. Cleveland's next matchup against a Washington team that has limited point guards to below 40 percent shooting doesn't look very promising for Rubio.
