DeSean Jackson Says He's Signing With Raiders
3 years agoFree-agent wide receiver DeSean Jackson, who was released by the Los Angeles Rams earlier this week after they failed to find a trade partner for him, said that he is going to sign with the Las Vegas Raiders. This pairing makes perfect sense after the Raiders just released former first-rounder Henry Ruggs III after he was arrested and charged with a DUI involving a death earlier in the week. Las Vegas now has another deep threat to pair with Hunter Renfrow. Bryan Edwards, who was expected to have a bigger role without Ruggs in the fold, had zero receptions in the Week 9 loss to the New York Giants. D-Jax saw only 15 targets in seven games in LA, but he had eight catches for 221 yards (27.6 yards per catch) and a touchdown, and he'll be an interesting boom/bust WR4/flex for fantasy managers in deeper leagues now that he's found a new team.
