Courtland Sutton - Week 9 Outlook for Fantasy Football
3 years agoDenver Broncos wide receiver Courtland Sutton did not have a good game in Jerry Jeudy's return from a high ankle sprain in the Week 8 win over the Washington Football Team, catching two of his four targets for only 40 yards. However, no Broncos player had more than four targets with quarterback Teddy Bridgewater spreading the ball around. Sutton is likely to be matched up with Dallas Cowboys star cornerback Trevon Diggs in Week 9, but tight end Noah Fant is likely to be out with COVID-19 and the Broncos figure to be passing often to keep up with Dallas' high-scoring offense. It might be a stretch to hope that Sutton will see double-digit targets with Jeudy now back, but with Fant likely out, there's a good chance Sutton will bounce back on Sunday as more of a low-end WR2 this week. The Cowboys have allowed the eighth-most fantasy points per game in 2021 to WRs.
