Kelly Olynyk Rolls To A Double-Double Off The Bench
3 years agoDetroit Pistons forward/center Kelly Olynyk notched his first double-double of the season in Friday's loss to the Nets, going for 14 points and 10 rebounds in 25 minutes off the bench. He dropped two three-point bombs with four attempts and shot 5-for-11 overall from the field with a 2-for-4 record at the line. Olynyk posted zero turnovers and completed his productive night with two assists, one steal and one block. The 30-year-old has taken a big step backward this season after feasting in Houston last campaign, but Olynyk has done well so far, averaging 12.4 points, 5.2 rebounds and 2.4 assists. He'll head back to H-Town on Wednesday with a road game against the Rockets coming up. His former team allows a league-high 42.8 bench points per game, so this could be a big night for Olynyk.
