Dolphins Optimistic Tua Tagovailoa Will Play In Week 9
3 years agoMiami Dolphins head coach Brian Flores said that quarterback Tua Tagovailoa (finger) banged the finger on his left throwing hand during last week's game against the Buffalo Bills. Tagovailoa has experienced swelling and soreness in his finger, but Flores is optimistic that he will play in a great Week 9 matchup against the one-win Houston Texans. He has been limited in practices so far this week and should be able to suit up on Sunday against a Texans defense that has allowed the sixth-most fantasy points per game to opposing signal-callers. Tagovailoa is expected to be without wide receiver DeVante Parker (hamstring, shoulder), but the second-year QB will nevertheless have low-end QB1 streaming potential in this dream matchup.
