Dante Pettis Lands On Injured Reserve
3 years agoThe New York Giants placed wide receiver Dante Pettis (shoulder) on Injured Reserve on Friday and signed running back Dexter Williams to the practice squad in a corresponding move. Pettis will miss at least the next three games after he suffered a left shoulder injury in the Week 8 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs on Monday night. The Giants have the most banged-up receiving corps in the league, with Sterling Shepard (quadriceps) also expected to miss some time. Kenny Golladay (knee) has been out since Week 5, and rookie Kadarius Toney (thumb) has been beat up as well. If Golladay is unable to play this Sunday against the Las Vegas Raiders, Toney, Darius Slayton and John Ross would likely operate in three-receiver sets.
