Rex Burkhead, Chris Conley Limited Wednesday
3 years agoHouston Texans running back Rex Burkhead (hip) and wide receiver Chris Conley (calf) were both limited in practice on Wednesday. Tight end Pharaoh Brown (thigh), who missed the Week 8 game, did not practice. In the first game without Mark Ingram II, Burkhead led Houston's running backs with a 49.2% snap share, with Scottie Phillips seeing 24.6% of the snaps behind him. Burkhead turned four carries into 21 yards and a touchdown, while catching three of four targets for 27 yards. You shouldn't be excited about rostering any RB from the Texans, but Burkhead might be worth a stash in deeper leagues if you're hurting for RB depth. Conley caught just one of two targets for 24 yards last Sunday and has been surpassed by Danny Amendola and Nico Collins in the pecking order.
