Dawson Knox, Cole Beasley Absent Wednesday
3 years agoBuffalo Bills tight end Dawson Knox (hand) and wide receiver Cole Beasley (ribs) both missed practice on Wednesday. Knox is improving after having surgery on his hand, but he's not ready to return to practice and is unlikely to play in Week 9 against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Tommy Sweeney has seen more playing time in Knox's absence, but he's more of a blocking tight end and isn't all that attractive as a TE2 in fantasy. If Knox was dropped by his previous owner, pick him up immediately, as he was in the midst of a breakout season before his broken hand. Beasley caught 10 of 13 targets for 110 yards in Week 8 in the win over the Miami Dolphins and could go off again against the lowly Jaguars this Sunday if he's able to play, but he'll need to return to practice later this week for fantasy managers to feel comfortable using him.
