3 years agoThe Indianapolis Colts released quarterback Brett Hundley and placed defensive end Tyquan Lewis (knee) on Injured Reserve amid a flurry of roster moves on Monday. The Colts also elevated running back Deon Jackson and safety Josh Jones to the 53-man roster from the practice squad. Rookie quarterback Sam Ehlinger will serve as Carson Wentz's backup moving forward. Lewis suffered a season-ending patellar injury in the Week 8 overtime loss to the Tennessee Titans. The former second-rounder in 2018 had 14 tackles (10 solo), three tackles for loss, 2.5 sacks and one interception in his eight games (two starts) in 2021.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
