Dawson Knox Considered Day-To-Day
3 years agoBuffalo Bills head coach Sean McDermott said that tight end Dawson Knox (hand) was day-to-day on Monday after having surgery on his broken hand. Knox missed the team's Week 8 win over the Miami Dolphins and isn't guaranteed to practice or play in Week 9 against the Jacksonville Jaguars. The 24-year-old could miss one more game, but there seems to be at least a decent chance that he could be back on the field in Week 10, barring any setbacks. Without Knox in the win over the Dolphins, Tommy Sweeney caught three of his four targets for 30 yards. The typically blocking-first tight end won't have much upside as a TE2 if Knox misses another game this week. Knox was in the midst of a career year before his injury in Week 6, catching 21 passes for 286 yards and a career-high five touchdowns on 27 targets.
