Darrynton Evans Lands On IR For Second Time
3 years agoThe Tennessee Titans placed running back Darrynton Evans (knee) on Injured Reserve for the second time this season on Friday, which will end his 2021 campaign. Evans missed the first six games of the year while being on IR for a knee injury. He had two carries for seven yards and caught two passes for 11 yards in the Week 7 win over the Kansas City Chiefs before going back on IR this week. Evans was a third-round pick last year and played in five games in his rookie season. Behind the NFL's top rusher in Derrick Henry, the Titans also have Jeremy McNichols and fullback Khari Blasingame on the active roster, with Mekhi Sargent and Dontrell Hilliard on the practice squad.
