3 years agoNew England Patriots tight end Jonnu Smith (shoulder) was limited in practice all week and is questionable for Week 8 against the Los Angeles Chargers. Smith was injured in the Week 7 blowout win over the New York Jets, but he traveled with the team and has a good chance of suiting up this Sunday afternoon. He caught just two of five targets last week for a season-high 52 yards and has just one touchdown on the season. Teammate Hunter Henry has been the much better fantasy option as a low-end TE1/high-end TE2 that is useful as a bye-week filler or streamer. Henry has just two more targets than Smith in seven games, but he's been much more productive and has found the end zone four times to Smith's one score.
