3 years agoSan Francisco 49ers wide receiver Deebo Samuel (calf) was on the field on Thursday for the portion of practice open to the media after he sat out of Wednesday's practice. The 49ers were optimistic on Wednesday that Samuel would be fine for this weekend's game against the Chicago Bears, and his return to the practice field on Thursday confirms that. The 25-year-old is far and away San Francisco's top target in the passing game and enters this week's action as the WR4 in terms of overall fantasy points. Samuel has caught 38 of his 62 targets on the year for 648 yards and four touchdowns in six games played. And against a Bears secondary that just allowed three touchdowns to Buccaneers receiver Mike Evans, Samuel will be a WR1 for fantasy managers in Week 8.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
