Sterling Shepard Returns To Practice Thursday
3 years agoNew York Giants wide receiver Sterling Shepard (hamstring) returned to practice on Thursday after sitting out of the Week 7 win over the Carolina Panthers. Shepard has only played in four games this season due to his nagging hamstring issues, but when he's played he's been very productive as one of quarterback Daniel Jones' favorite targets. He has reeled in 28 of his 36 targets for 299 yards and one score on the season, and he appears to be on track to return on Monday night against the Kansas City Chiefs. With Kenny Golladay (knee) and rookie Kadarius Toney (ankle) still not practicing, Shepard could be in line to be the team's top target in a game that could feature plenty of passing against KC. If Shepard returns to the field, he should be a pretty safe flex play, especially in PPR leagues.
