3 years agoBrooklyn Nets center Nicolas Claxton will not play in Wednesday's game against the Miami Heat. According to Nets reporter Chris Milholen, Claxton is dealing with a non-COVID illness. The 22-year-old started the team's first three games of the year, but he was bumped to the bench in the team's most recent game as they decided to go small with Bruce Brown in the starting five and Blake Griffin manning center. Claxton has averaged 19 minutes per game this year and he's put up 6.5 points, 5.5 rebounds and 1.0 blocks per game. Veterans Paul Millsap and LaMarcus Aldridge could see their minutes increase with Claxton sidelined, though neither is very enticing for DFS purposes.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
