Broncos Open Albert Okwuegbunam's Practice Window
3 years agoThe Denver Broncos opened tight end Albert Okwuegbunam's (hamstring) and linebacker Jonas Griffith's (hamstring) practice windows on Tuesday to return from Injured Reserve. The Broncos have 21 days to activated both players from IR. The team also waived running back Damarea Crockett and linebacker Curtis Robinson and released wide receiver John Brown, center Javon Patterson and defensive back Saivion Smith from the practice squad and placed guard Netane Muti on the Reserve/COVID-19 list. Okwuegbunam caught nine passes for 57 yards and a touchdown as Noah Fant's backup before going on IR. But unless Fant misses time with an injury, Albert O won't be of much use to fantasy managers.
