Teams Expressing Interest In Evan Engram
3 years agoMultiple teams are expressing interest in New York Giants tight end Evan Engram with the trade deadline looming next Tuesday. The Houston Texans are among the potential sellers, and not just with quarterback Deshaun Watson. If Engram were to be traded, Kyle Rudolph would become much more attractive as a touchdown-dependent fantasy option for the Giants. Engram didn't make his season debut until Week 3 due to an injury, and he has only 20 catches on 29 targets for 171 yards and no touchdowns through five games this season. Once wide receivers Kenny Golladay (knee), Kadarius Toney (ankle) and Sterling Shepard (hamstring) make it back into the lineup, he'll be less attractive as a TE2, but Engram could become more interesting if he's traded to a better situation.
