Evan Mobley Registers First Career Double-Double
3 years agoCleveland Cavaliers center Evan Mobley picked up his first career double-double in Saturday's 101-95 win over Atlanta, recording 17 points on 7-for-12 shooting and grabbing 11 rebounds. Jarrett Allen was also in double-double form with 11 points and 14 rebounds. Mobley shot 7-for-12 from the field and 3-for-3 at the line, adding four blocks, one assist and one steal to his tally. The Cavs lineup with Mobley and Allen out there looks weird in the current NBA, but it's been effective, and the two will be sniffing around a double-double all season. They get to battle with the reigning MVP Nikola Jokic next in a road game on Monday, which should be a great source of motivation.
