Russell Wilson Could Return Immediately After IR Stint
3 years agoSeattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson (finger) will have a pin removed from his middle finger within the next week, and there's a chance that he could immediately return from Injured Reserve when he's eligible in Week 10. Wilson had surgery a day after spraining the middle finger on his throwing hand in the Week 5 loss to the Los Angeles Rams and was placed on IR five days later. Seattle lost their first game with Geno Smith as the starter under center to the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 6, and they head on the road to the New Orleans Saints this Monday night. As of now, it looks like Wilson could return to face the Green Bay Packers in Week 10. It's great news for Wilson's fantasy managers, and he should be returned to all starting lineups as a QB1 when he's back.
