Nico Collins Designated To Return From Injured Reserve
3 years agoThe Houston Texans designated rookie wide receiver Nico Collins (shoulder) to return from Injured Reserve after he returned to the practice field on Wednesday. The Texans will now have 21 days to activate him from IR and to the active roster. Collins had just two catches on four targets for 39 yards in the first two games of his career, but he's missed the last three contests after going on IR. The 22-year-old third-rounder could be back as early as this weekend against the Indianapolis Colts, but he'll be battling for snaps amongst Danny Amendola, Chris Moore and Chris Conley behind Brandin Cooks. Collins is unlikely to a big role immediately upon his return. For now, he's purely one to stash in dynasty and deeper leagues.
