Damien Williams, Darnell Mooney Limited Wednesday
3 years agoChicago Bears running back Damien Williams (foot, knee) and wide receiver Darnell Mooney (groin) were both limited in practice on Wednesday. Williams was the popular waiver-wire pickup last week after David Montgomery (knee) went down with a multi-week knee injury, and he responded by carrying the ball 16 times for 64 yards and a touchdown on the ground. Rookie Khalil Herbert actually had two more carries for 75 yards in the win over the Las Vegas Raiders. Williams is expected to be the go-to back for the Bears with Montgomery out, but Herbert could once again have a big role in Week 6 against the Green Bay Packers if Williams is limited or out. Williams will be an RB2 if he plays, but Herbert could have standalone RB3/flex appeal in deeper leagues as well. Mooney has been a steady No. 2 target for the Bears, but he has yet to find the end zone. There will be WR4/flex appeal against the Packers this week, especially if Allen Robinson II (ankle) is limited.
