Luis Urias Not In The Lineup For Game 1 Of NLDS
3 years agoMilwaukee Brewers infielder Luis Urias is not in the starting lineup for Game 1 of the NLDS against right-hander Charlie Morton and the Atlanta Braves. Eduardo Escobar is covering third base for the game and manager Craig Counsell chose to go with the left-handed Rowdy Tellez at first base. The right-handed Urias had a strong year in his second season with the team, slashing .249/.345/.445 with 23 home runs, 75 RBI and 77 runs. He performed slightly better against lefties (.800 OPS) than he did against righties (.786 OPS) this year, so it's likely that he'll be in the lineup for Game 2 against southpaw Max Fried.
