Josh Jacobs Upgraded To Full Practice
3 years agoLas Vegas Raiders running back Josh Jacobs (ankle) was upgraded to a full practice participant on Thursday. On the flip side, Peyton Barber (toe) missed practice for the second straight day and looks likely to miss the Week 5 game against the Chicago Bears after suffering a mild turf-toe injury on Monday night. Jacobs was limited in practice on Wednesday, but he appears to be getting past his injury after looking sluggish on Monday following a two-week absence. The 23-year-old should see all the early down work he can get with Barber injured, while Kenyan Drake continues to work in passing situations. Jacobs could be better with better health, but through two games he's averaging just 3.2 yards per carry on 23 attempts. He'll be more of a low-end, touchdown-dependent RB2 this Sunday against Chicago.
