Elijah Moore Cleared From Concussion Protocol
3 years agoNew York Jets rookie wide receiver Elijah Moore (concussion) has been cleared from the league's concussion protocol, according to head coach Robert Saleh. Receiver Jeff Smith remains in the concussion protocol. Moore missed the Week 4 win over the Tennessee Titans after suffering a concussion in Week 3, but it looks like he'll return to the fold in Week 5 against the Atlanta Falcons. The 21-year-old turned heads in training camp and has eight catches on 18 targets for 66 yards in his first three NFL games. However, he'll be competing for playing time with Keelan Cole and Braxton Berrios after veteran slot man Jamison Crowder made his season debut last week and had good chemistry with rookie quarterback Zach Wilson. Corey Davis remains the team's unquestioned No. 1 wideout.
